| i am taking a class called micro-economics at wpi. and in becoming an engineer, it was a course apart from the required classes. there is a common term called an opportunity cost, which is what you give up to get something else. for example, i am currently in college taking classes at the opportunity cost of financial loans. the opportunity cost is a major factor of how people base their decisions on different choices that are available.
after graduating from wpi... well assuming that i stay at wpi, i will most likely be thinking about what i will be doing, or i might have a job. yet, the choices is almost limitless. there are so many things i can do now and even in the future. i could go work for a company and work to live a comfortable life and help those i love.
but what is it going to look for me, a chinese american christian man, to live as jesus did? of course the opportunity cost is huge. in giving up what i have, in order to help others without asking something in return. this gift of grace is a mind blowing concept. i was listening to audioblog of urbana03, someone said, "following jesus is costly, but not following jesus is far more costly." God is the only true source of joy that lasts. all other things are just like a wave, for there is an empty feeling. if he calls me to go elsewhere, will i be ready? will i go live a comfortable life and help out of surplus? will i make excuses and ignore my calling? as i look out there, there is a lot of road to cover.
show me where you want me to go and my calling. | | |

TJ's
so TJ's (Trader Joe's) is pratically the best store that sells anything that Stop & Shop doesn't have. but the problem is that an attempt to get the coconut ice cream would end in vain due to the long transportation back home therefore leading to the melting. so...

Dear Trader Joe's crew,
I am an absolute fan of your store. It's not just a store, but it's like a bazaar of all different products. I have so much fun whenever I go into Trader Joe's. The uniqueness, quality, and price of your products is unbelievable! I have never seen coconut ice cream inside a coconut shell, and those frozen mango chunks make wonderful fruit shakes.
I am asking to request for a opening of Trader Joe's in the city of Quincy. Quincy is a growing city and it would make a wonderful addition to the city...

Heh, it's a mnemonic... of the Berkeley Building (old John Hancock building). that tower is wicked old but sturdy, while the new one had falling glass panels. heh. It's going to be steady red tonight. and "<with british accent> words are like swords, that can pierce hearts..." hahahha. true though, true.
